Contaminant Removal

The PTFC-35 Pegasus Spring Water Drinking System will reduce the following contaminants:*
  • Arsenic

  • Lead
  • Nitrate
  • Nitrite
  • Radium 226/228
  • Selenium
  • TDS
* For specific percentages of contaminant reduction, consult the performance data chart. Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality, without adequate disinfection before or after the system. This system shall only be used for arsenic reduction on chlorinated water supplies containing detectable residual free chlorine at the system inlet. Systems certified for cyst reduction may be used on disinfected water that may contain filterable cysts.On a yearly basis it is recommended that you have your water tested by a water treatment professional or an independent laboratory to verify your system is performing satisfactorily.
NSF International This system has been tested and Certified by NSF International against ANSI/NSF Standard 58.

NSF is the nationally recognized agency for the certification of reverse osmosis systems. Products with the NSF mark are certified to pass a series of stringent independent tests. Look for the NSF mark. It is your assurance the system meets its claims.
